This residence was designed for a large family spanning three generations and extends across three levels. The lower floor is laid out with the common spaces as well as a bedroom for the older members of the family. The first floor includes three bedrooms for the rest of the family tied together by a common lounge around the staircase. The Master bedroom expands into a large terrace garden. These common gathering spaces - an open courtyard with a waterfall in the ground level extending from the dining area, the lounge and terrace garden in the first floor, were intentionally introduced at every level to bring together the family while maintaining the privacy of their personal space. The elevator walls wrapped in stone serves as a feature as it runs through the entire house. The terrace floor is divided into two open terraces by a recreation room which allows the open terraces to be enjoyed while entertaining large groups of people. The clients brief for the interiors was eclectic with each individual wanting their space to reflect their own personal style. All the furniture was custom designed and executed by us.
